The iconic symbol of France's global fame is the Chateau de Versailles, also called the Palace of Versailles. It will host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024 in an amazing location rich in history.

The equestrian competitions for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris are planned to take place at the Palace of Versailles from July 27 to August 6, with 200 riders competing in three disciplines—dressage, eventing, and jumping—both individually and in teams.
The modern pentathlon is planned to take place in the North Paris Arena and the Palace of Versailles from August 8 to 11, 2024, during the Paris Summer Olympics. With the exception of the fencing ranking rounds, which will take place at the North Paris Arena, all modern pentathlon competitions will take place at the Palace of Versailles.
In addition to these two sports, the Olympic Torch Relay will also take place at the Palace of Versailles.

- Rail line N: begins in the wealthy Saint Germain des Pres area in the 6th district of Paris, south of the city at Montparnasse. Use the RER C toward Versailles Chantiers or Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, and then walk 50 minutes or use the free Paris 2024 spectator bus to get to the arena.
Although people are advised to use the shuttle busses from the trains, it is also possible to walk from the stations to the venue by crossing the Château de Versailles' grounds.
